Getting Started

Your journey to becoming a well-rounded horseman starts here

How It Works

1

Schedule Your Evaluation Lesson

Your first lesson is an evaluation where we'll assess your experience level, discuss your goals, and find the right program for you. No riding experience necessary!

2

Choose Your Program

Based on age and goals, we'll recommend the best fit: Pee Wee Program (ages 2-7), Academy Lessons (ages 8+ and adults), or Haul-In Training if you have your own horse.

3

Start Your Lessons

Begin with our Levels Program, building your foundation in Western riding fundamentals. We provide the horse, tack, and equipment—just bring yourself and closed-toe shoes!

4

Progress & Specialize

As you advance through the levels, you'll choose a specialized track that matches your interests—whether that's ranch riding, reining, barrel racing, or another discipline.

Common Questions

Do I need any experience to start?

Not at all! Our Levels Program is designed to take complete beginners and build them into confident, capable riders. We start with the fundamentals and progress at your pace.

Do I need to own a horse?

No! We provide quality lesson horses for all Academy and Pee Wee students. You can learn, progress, and even compete on our horses through our Catch-Ride Show Team.

How often should I take lessons?

We recommend weekly lessons for consistent progress. However, we work with your schedule—some students ride twice a week, others every other week. Consistency is more important than frequency.

What ages do you teach?

We teach ages 2 through adult! Pee Wee Program is for ages 2-7, and our Academy Program serves ages 8 and up, including adults of all ages.
