The Next Step

The Lease Program

The natural next step for Academy riders who are ready for more consistent saddle time, deeper responsibility with a horse, and — when they're ready — local show opportunities.

What is a Lease?

More Than Lessons. Less Than Ownership.

Leasing bridges the gap between riding lesson horses in a group setting and owning your own horse. When you lease, you're assigned an Academy horse for dedicated rides outside of regular lessons — giving you more consistent time in the saddle, a deeper relationship with a specific horse, and more responsibility for that horse's care and development.

Our lease program focuses on Academy horses within our barn — high-quality, well-trained horses that are already part of our program. You get the experience of having your own horse without the full cost and commitment of ownership.

Leasing is by recommendation after your Academy coach believes you're ready for this next step.

Lease Options

Two Types of Leases

Practice Lease

Extra Saddle Time

For Academy riders ready for more consistent time with one horse. A Practice Lease gives you dedicated rides outside of regular group lessons, building a deeper relationship with an assigned Academy horse. No show requirements — just extra time in the saddle and more responsibility.

Competition Lease

Local Show Opportunities

For riders who are ready to take their skills to local show environments with a leased Academy horse. Competition leases are for riders who have demonstrated readiness and are interested in optional local show participation. Showing is always an opportunity, never a requirement.
