Red Horse Academy is our structured, membership-based riding program for riders who use our lesson horses. Whether you're riding for fun, building confidence, or preparing for local shows — the Academy is designed to grow with you.
All new students begin with a $55 New Student Evaluation. We recommend the right program from there.
Ages 4 to adult — all experience levels
Lesson horses, tack, and helmets provided
Max 3 riders per instructor
Monthly horsemanship classes included
Indoor and outdoor arenas, year-round

Academy Levels
Find Your Level
Every rider is placed after their evaluation. You'll start exactly where you are.
Pony Pals
Ages 2–7Lead-line instruction in a safe, fun environment. Confidence, basic safety, and a love for horses.
Academy Foundations
Beginner RidersSafety, balance, steering, and stopping. The essential starting point for riders of any age with no prior experience.
Academy Skills
Intermediate RidersRanch riding basics, patterns, trail obstacles, and deeper horsemanship. Builds on Foundations.
Academy Performance
Advanced RidersHigher-level western skills, optional local showing opportunities, and preparation for leasing or horse ownership.

Private Coaching
One-on-one instruction tailored to your goals. A premium add-on to any Academy membership.
Horsemanship Classes
Monthly unmounted sessions covering horse care, safety, and barn etiquette. Included with all memberships.

Our IEA/YEDA team competes at regional and national levels. Riders use our lesson horses — no horse ownership required to compete.

From Your First Lesson
to Nationals.
Advanced Academy riders are eligible to join the Red Horse IEA/YEDA Show Team. We compete at regional and national levels using our lesson horses — meaning your student never needs to own a horse to ride at the highest levels.
